Winter tourist season in Kyrgyzstan to be officially opened on December 17

Bishkek, Dec. 14, 2022 / Kabar/. The official start of the winter tourist season in Kyrgyzstan will take place on December 17, the press service of the Ministry of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth Policy said.

The opening ceremony will take place at the ZiL ski base outskirts of Bishkek. The event will be accompanied by competitions, a concert program and a prize draw. All lovers of skiing, snowboarding and sledding are welcome.

The ZiL ski complex is open daily from 10.00 to 16.00. There are 3 cable cars, a tubing park, cafes, coffee shops, a sauna, a billiard room and a hotel complex on the territory of the base. There is also a daily transfer from Bishkek and back, which can be booked by calling +996 556 107 420.

The complex will start working tomorrow, December 15. According to the administration, this year, unlike last season, there was much more snow, and therefore the tracks are ideal for skiing. The sub-zero temperature makes it possible to additionally throw artificial snow on the slope.
