Winter tourist season officially opened in Bishkek

Bishkek, Dec. 14, 2023. / Kabar/. The official opening ceremony of the winter tourist season in Kyrgyzstan for 2023-2024 took place today in Bishkek.

The event took place at the Bishkek Arena sports and entertainment complex. Young figure skaters demonstrated their ice acrobatics skills, and hockey players showed the guests tricks with the puck. Popular singers and dancers also performed at the opening of the tourist season. Various competitions and prizes were drawn for the participants of the event.

The event is organized by the Department of Tourism under the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic together with the Department of Physical Culture and Sports, the Department of Tourism and Youth Work of the Bishkek City Hall with the support of international partners, the sports and entertainment complex "City Skating Rink" and other organizations.
