WNG-2018. Kyrgyzstanis win 11 medals in mas-wrestling, 4 - gold

Bishkek, Sept. 04, 2018. /Kabar/. At the end of the mas-wrestling finals held within the Third World Nomad Games, the names of sportsmen-medalists became known.

12 sets of medals were played out among men and women in different weight categories. 122 sportsmen from 26 countries took part in the competitions, the Secretariat of the World Nomad Games reported.

In the category of 60 kg Kyrgyz wrestler Bekzhan Omuraliev became the gold medal winner. The second was sportsman from Azerbaijan Rasul Safarov. The third place is shared by Islom Abdumalikov (Uzbekistan) and Medet Esbulaev (Kazakhstan).

In the battle for the gold medal in the weight category of 70 kg Kyrgyzstani sportsman Kudainazar Alimov lost to sportsman from Russia Alexander Rakhleev. The bronze medals were shared by sportsmen Shamet Temirlan (Kazakhstan) and Aleksey Kushnir (Ukraine).

In the weight category of 80 kg Kyrgyzstani sportsman Askat Dzhunushev and Semen Atakov from Russia competed for the first place. The victory was gained by the Russian sportsman. The bronze medals were won by sportsmen Sajadi Aliakbar (Iran) and Sultan Agaev (Azerbaijan).

In the weight category of 90 kg in the final bout the gold medal was won by Kyrgyzstani sportsman Azat Tashtanbekov. His rival from Russia Danil Moiseev became the silver medalist. The third place was shared by sportsmen Abrar Bagerpur Ali (Iran) and Ilioz Kodirov (Uzbekistan).

In the weight category up to 105 kg Kyrgyzstani sportsman Keldibek Ataibek uulu beat all his rivals. The second place was taken by Russian sportsman Denis Sleptsov. The third place is held by sportsmen Thomas Deli (Hungary) and Vyacheslav Starkov (Kazakhstan).

In the weight category up to 125 kg Russian sportsmen fought in the final game. The gold medal was won by Dmitry Popov, the silver medal was awarded to Anton Dementyev. The third place was shared by sportsmen Nasimjon Rajabov (Uzbekistan) and Alexander Krasnov (Kazakhstan).

In the absolute weight class over 125 kg Kyrgyz wrestler Rustam Dzhalilov and Andrey Markin from Russia competed in the finals. The gold medal was won by Russian sportsman. The bronze medals were awarded to sportsmen Reza Gheitasi (Iran) and Alatansuh (China).

Competitions among women were held in five weight categories.

In the weight category of 55 kg among women the winner is sportswoman from Russia Sardana Osipova. In the finals she defeated her rival from Uzbekistan Regina Mulyasheva. Kyrgyzstani sportswoman Elza Abdykadyrova and Lyudmila Kazakova from Russia became bronze medal winners.

In the weight category of 65 kg Kyrgyzstani sportswoman Kymbat Nurjanova and sportswoman from Russia Alina Turchina competed in the final game. Victory was gained by Alina Turchina. The bronze medals were awarded to sportswomen Anna Vaganova (Russia) and Fanni Rebecca Varga (Hungary).

In the weight category of 75 kg Russian sportswoman Saina Sedalisheva took the first place. The second place was won by sportswoman from Azerbaijan Nargiza Ibragimova. The third place was shared by sportswomen Madina Elieva (Uzbekistan) and Lyubov Maleeva (Kyrgyzstan).

In the weight category of 85 kg the gold medal was won by sportswoman from Ukraine Irina Zaslavskaya. The silver medal was awarded to sportswoman from Kazakhstan Darya Nesterova. The bronze medals were won by Sandra Benagshi (Hungary) and Naziya Mailibasheva (Kyrgyzstan).

In the absolute weight class over 85 kg Svetlana Tikhonova from Russia beat her rival from USA Lindsey Hall. The third place was taken by sportswomen Dildora Rakhmonova (Kyrgyzstan) and Ashuri Khinia (Iran).

The total prize fund for mas-wrestling is 770 thousand soms. Gold medal winners will receive 50 thousand soms each, silver medal winners 30 thousand soms each, and bronze medal winners 15 thousand soms each.
