WNG-2018. Results of two days of kok-boru and competitions for tomorrow

Bishkek, Sept. 04, 2018. /Kabar/. The Kyrgyz State Agency for Youth, Physical Culture and Sports presented the outcomes of the first days of kok-boru.

The competitions are taking place at the hippodrome in Baktuu-Doonotu village, where 11 teams have been competing for passing to the next round for the past two days.

Yesterday in Group A the Kyrgyz sportsmen beat Mongolia by the record score of 29:5. The Uzbek national team defeated the team form Bashkortostan by the devastating score of 19:1. The Muscovites (Russian Federation) outpowered Afghanistan - 7:2.

Today in Group C the team from Krasnoyarsk, Russia, played against fellows from the United States of America. It is the second time Americans have participated in this sport within the nomad games. In the match for qualifying for the next round USA managed to score only three goals, and let in 18. Their next rival will be the Kazakhstani national team.

It is the first time the sportsmen from France have participated in this sport. Their rivals in Group D are the national teams of Bashkortostan (Russian Federation) and Uzbekistan. Today in their debut game the French sportsmen competed against Bashkortostan. Victory was gained by the Bashkiri sportsmen by the score of 2:0.

The Altaic team (Russian Federation) lost to Mongolia by the score of 0:1.
