Bishkek, Sept. 11, 2024. / Kabar/. The competitions in the Uzbek national wrestling kurash have ended as part of the 5thWorld Nomad Games in Astana.
Members of the Kyrgyz national kurash team won 2 medals (1 gold, 1 bronze) at the 5th World Nomad Games in Astana (Kazakhstan).
Bekbolot Toktogonov became the winner of the 5th World Nomad Games among men in the +100 kg weight category. Among women, Azhar Isayeva won the bronze medal in the up to 70 kg weight category.
The team took part in the tournament under the guidance of coach Raikan Kurmanov.
A total of 106 athletes from 27 countries took part in the tournament.
