Bishkek, May 10, 2022. /Kabar/. A woman was killed in an accident on the Bishkek-Osh highway and children are among those injured, Kabar Agency has learnt from the press service of the Interior Ministry of Kyrgyzstan.
The deadly accident occurred on Monday at 1:15 p.m. on the 197th km of the Bishkek-Osh highway.
Thus, a 39-year-old resident of Osh Oblast was driving a Honda Stepwagon from north to south.
"According to preliminary data, the driver failed to correct the steering control, drove into the oncoming traffic lane and collided with Hyundai Getz driven by a 41-year-old resident of Bishkek.
As a result of an accident, a passenger of Hyundai Getz aged 40-45 died from her injuries on the spot. The two minors had to be taken to hospital," the report said.
The drivers were also taken to a hospital in Tokogul region of Jalal-Abad Oblast with various injuries.
