Women's national volleyball team of Kyrgyzstan wins bronze medal of Asian zonal championship

Bishkek, Nov. 1, 2021 / Kabar /. The women's national volleyball team of Kyrgyzstan U-19 took 3rd place at the Asian zonal championship, which was held on Oct. 26 - 30 in the city of Namangan (Uzbekistan).

According to the State Sports Agency, 4 national teams from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan took part in the championship.

At the group stage, the teams played against each other. In the semifinals of the championship, the national team of Kyrgyzstan lost to the national team of Kazakhstan, and in the match for the 3rd place, domestic athletes won the national team of Tajikistan with a score of 3: 1 and became the bronze medalist of the zonal championship of Asia.

According to the results of the tournament, a member of the national team Ayturgan Aytbekova became the Best Diagonal. And among the judges Kokcholokov Nurgazy became the owner of the Best Judge nomination.
