Bishkek, Dec.27, 2024. /Kabar/. Projects have been launched in Naryn Oblast of Kyrgyzstan to open enterprises for wool processing and safflower oil production, the press service of the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture and Processing Industry of the republic reported.
For the implementation of these initiatives, KGS 11 million 528 thousand were allocated for the purchase of modern equipment for four regions of the oblast – Ak-Talaa, Zhumgal, Kochkor and Naryn.
In addition, two areas have been launched in Naryn region: wool processing (KGS 2 million 700 thousand) and safflower oil production (KGS 520 thousand). All equipment has already been delivered and installed.
The Agriculture Ministry also reported that works are planned to equip slaughterhouses with skinning machines, which will be implemented in 2025.
Governor of Naryn Oblast Altynbek Ergeshov emphasized that these projects are aimed at supporting the local economy and developing the processing industry.
Heads of oblasts and regions have been instructed to open similar enterprises in each region of the country. These projects are expected to make a significant contribution to the development of the local economy, increase employment and strengthen Kyrgyzstan's processing industry.
