Naryn, Aug.14, 2019. /Kabar/. Local entrepreneurs in Emgekchil village administration of Naryn region, Naryn Oblast have opened a workshop for processing wool into felt. Slippers, boots and various felt accessories are made of raw materials.
Nurlan Samakeyev, the technologist said the company employs about 6 people, who receive a stable salary.
“We process about 700 kg of wool per day, and we take more than 1 ton from the population. We sell processed wool in two directions - sales of felt in the form of raw materials and shoe making. Currently, we are focused on improving the quality of our shoes and covering the markets,” he concluded.
