Bishkek, June 11, 2021 . / Kabar / . Due to high temperatures in Bishkek, a methane emission has increased at the Bishkek Landfill from the non-separated disposal of MSW with food waste, which leads to fires and smoke.
In order to reduce the smoke, an agreement was reached on June 10, 2021 between director of Bishkek Sanitary Landfill Municipal Enterprise Adil Nazarov and director of the branch of Rand&Tuulberg (Estonia) Jaanus Pezt to provide one excavator and three duplexers (trucks) to extinguish fires with clay.
Besides, 150 clay trucks will be delivered to the territory of the landfill within three days.
Bishkek Sanitary Landfill Municipal Enterprise, in turn, committed to provide partners with fuel and lubricants.
