Work of call center in Bishkek strengthened as number of COVID-19 cases growing

Bishkek, July 15, 2022. /Kabar/. Due to an increase in the incidence of COVID-19, the work of 118 call center has been strengthened in the capital city of Bishkek, the press service of the capital’s Mayor’s Office reported.

Hotline provides advice to the population of the capital on the following diseases: COVID-19 and acute respiratory infections.

There are 70 temporary inoculation centers in Bishkek where citizens can be vaccinated with Sinopharm.

Thus, as of July 15, 2022 the first dose of vaccine against COVID-19 vaccine was given to 195 thousand 488 Bishkek residents, the second shot - 163 thousand 995 people, the booster dose - 23 thousand 44 people.

An increase in coronavirus cases is observed throughout Kyrgyzstan.

Thus, 85 new cases were revealed in the country on Friday.

A total of 201,414 positive cases of COVID-19 coronavirus infection have been reported in the republic since the start of the pandemic.
