Bishkek, Jan. 22, 2021. /Kabar/. Works of young artists from Kyrgyzstan are presented at the Art Without Borders international exhibition in Tokyo, the press service of the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry reported.
An opening ceremony of the 18th international exhibition, organized by the International Association of SUMI, was held on Jan. 21, 2021 at the National Art Center in Tokyo.
The event was attended by representatives of the diplomatic corps, professors of art higher education institutions in Japan, representatives of the Japanese creative intelligentsia, as well as art lovers. The exhibition features more than 180 works from 22 countries.
The Kyrgyz Republic is represented by works of 15 young artists, including 10 works created by children from orphanages in the republic. The exhibition will run until Feb. 1, 2021.
