World Cleanup Day in Osh city: 1500 cubic meters of garbage collected

Osh, Sept. 21, 2020. /Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan’s Osh city celebrated on Sept. 19 the World Cleanup Day, citywide clean-up was held this day.

All labor collectives of city organizations and municipal institutions, state services and departments, employees of health care, education, town planning and municipal enterprises, specialists of municipal administration and employees of Zhapalak administration of villages, administration of the central market and Zhapalak car market took part in the cleaning day.

The labor collectives carried out cleaning of the territories entrusted to them, sanitary and cleaning works, cleaning of ditch nets, cutting of grass and weeds.

In general, the participants of the citywide cleanup day cleaned up the city territory, including the territory of parks, squares, cleaning up the ditch networks and canals.

Following the results of the work, 1500 cubic meters of garbage was hauled off after the clean-up day.
