Kyrchyn, Sept. 6, 2018 / Kabar/. The World Nomad Games is a great boost for the Kyrgyz tourism, economy, David Hansen from USA told Kabar sharing his impressions about the Third World Nomad Games in Issyk-Kul.

The foreigner, who had lived in Kazakhstan for one year, said that he saw many people having a great time from all over the world, probably, people from 20-30 countries in the last two days. “Its really a great boost for the Kyrgyz tourism, economy,” he said adding that he met so many international visitors, who have come here specifically for these games, who had never considering visiting Kyrgyzstan prior.

David highly appreciated the organization of the games. “The events are very well organized. Having the app for the purchase of a ticket, making it technical was very helpful, I think for accessibility for the people abroad, who couldn’t be here to buy a ticket,’ he said.

The foreign guest also praised the opening ceremony of the games. “It was very beautiful: displays, music and dances, performances were phenomenal,” he said.

The guest also liked the ethnics crafts, local food, landscape and people of the country, whom he characterized as kind, generous and friendly.

The Third World Nomad Games are held in Issyk-Kul oblast on Sept. 2-8. About 2,000 athletes from all over the world have arrived to participate in the Games.

The ethno-village was opened within the framework of the Third World Nomad Games in Issyk-Kul oblast's Kyrchyn gorge. Seven oblasts of Kyrgyzstan and the cities of Bishkek and Osh and participants from 80 countries established yurtas, where national cuisine, folklore, clothes and folk games are represented.

In addition, the ethno-bazaar was opened in Kyrchyn ethno-village, where various handmade souvenirs from different countries are presented.

The closing ceremony of the Third World Nomad Games will be held on Sept. 8.
