Bishkek, Feb. 7, 2019. /Kabar/. The team of the world famous game World of Tanks will arrive in Bishkek to support game developers of Central Asia.
According to Wargaming, on February 17, an international exhibition of games and gaming devices will be held in Kyrgyzstan at the Central Asia Games Show, in which the World of Tanks team will take part in order to support game developers of Central Asia and help organize the “Tanks” tournament.
The event will be held at Asanbay Center in Bishkek and will become a large-scale gaming event in the region, where projects from Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Belarus, the USA and South Korea will be presented. Within the Central Asia Games Show, there will be a conference, during which developers from different countries will have the opportunity to communicate, discuss topical issues of the gaming industry and exchange interesting ideas. Representatives of Wargaming will share the experience of organizing offline events for players, as well as talk about the service of wgevents.net, through which it is possible to receive support of the company to organize an event.
One of the highlights of the exhibition will be the World of Tanks tournament for residents of Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan – CAGS Open 2019, in which 300 teams of three people have already registered. Those that pass the initial verification will battle online, and then the 4 best teams will arrive in Bishkek to participate in the final offline tournament and meet in hot battles for prizes in the form of in-game property and gaming equipment from partners of the event.
An individual competitions zone will be organized with 30 computers for guests of the event at Asanbay Center, where it will be possible to fight in World of Tanks and win prizes. The individual competitions will be held without prior registration, so everyone will be able to take part in it for free. In addition, during the event, souvenirs and World of Tanks gifts will be raffled off among all visitors to the exhibition.
“We have long-standing warm relations with Central Asia — the Battle of Kazakhstan series of tournaments, the League of Central Asia championships and, of course, more than 3 million registrations in our games in Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan,” Alexey Kornyshev, head of the Wargaming competition told. “We are happy when we can support initiatives such as the Central Asia Games Show, and contribute to the development of the gaming community. We are confident that such events can not only inspire to new projects, but also become an important platform for communication, development and exchange of experience,” he added.
