Bishkek, Aug. 15, 2024 /Kabar/. The World Sambo Championships kicked off in Cholpon-Ata today, August 15, at the Gazprom Sports Comple, the Department of Sports and Culture reported.
Thus, today there will be fights among men in sport sambo in the weight categories of 58, 64, 71, 79, 88, 98, 98+ kg, in combat sambo and among women in the weight categories of 59, 65 and 72 kg.
More than 250 athletes from 14 countries are taking part in the competitions.
