World Shawl Day to be celebrated in Bishkek and Osh

Bishkek, Jan. 28, 2019. /Kabar/. Events will be held to celebrate the World Shawl Day in two cities of Kyrgyzstan, on February 2, the organizers represented by the Islamic magazine Umma reported on social media.

In Bishkek, the celebration will be held at the Asia Mall at 11:00, in Osh at the Shanghai City Hotel.

During the event, active and well-known Kyrgyz women will make a motivational speech.

In the capital, human rights activist Rita Karasartova, head of the Bishkek Style Group Gulsara Osorova, Honored Artist of the Kyrgyz Republic Mukaram Madaminova, members of the parliament, Chairman of th Women’s Congress Zamira Akbagysheva, progressive activists of the Muslim community, public figures and others are among the speakers.

Free master classes on tying a scarf and elechek (Kyrgyz female headdress0, face care and handicrafts will be demonstrated in front of the guests.

In addition, there will be a show of national clothes of various nations, evening and wedding dresses, as well as modest fashion from talented domestic Muslim designers.
