Bishkek, April 14, 2023. / Kabar /. Deputy Minister of Economy and Commerce of Kyrgyzstan Kanat Abdrakhmanov met with Li Yue, Advisor for Trade and Economic Affairs of the Chinese Embassy, the press service of the Ministry of Economy and Commerce said.
They discussed the implementation of joint projects for irrigation, the construction of transport infrastructure, the supply of medical equipment and others.
The Chinese side divided the projects submitted for consideration into three stages. It should be noted that the projects "Construction of the bypass Chui Canal -2", "Supply and installation of modern medical equipment", as well as "Development of the road network in Bishkek (Phase 3)" entered the stage of priority implementation, the report said.
During the talks, Abdrakhmanov noted the importance of the first project, the implementation of which will reduce water loss to 400 million cubic meters per year and increase water supply to the lands of the Chui Valley.
Li Yue also emphasized its importance, pointing out that the Chinese side pays special attention to this project and will make efforts to accelerate its implementation in 2023.
In addition, according to the Chinese side, the delivery of two sets of a mobile hospital for the Kyrgyz Republic is expected in the near future.
