Bishkek, Jan. 21, 2019. /Kabar/. Head coach of the Kyrgyz national football team Aleksandr Krestinin told that they are trying to find a balance between attack and defense in order to defeat the United Arab Emirates team today at the Asian Cup.

Krestinin and forward Vitalij Lux answered questions from journalists in Abu Dhabi (UAE) yesterday.

The coach of Ak Shumkar players responded to the speculations of the coach of the UAE team that he works in the Russian style. “It’s very interesting what the Russian style is. I myself do not confine to any style. We try to play football that gives the result due to aggressive play in attack and reliable play in defense. There is no guarantee that the hosts will win the tournament,” he replied to the journalists.

He was asked about responsibility and pressure before the match with the United Arab Emirates.

“How can we measure the pressure that is put on teams: on whom more, on whom less. We performed only the first task, before the tournament I spoke about it. Now there are other tasks ahead. We will make every effort for this. There was a lot of work. Now the players are in optimal shape, it needs to be used. We’ll do our best to reach the quarter-finals. We must not miss this opportunity,” he said.

Forward Vitalij Lux shared that the preparation for the match is going well; they are preparing tactically and physically.

“I am glad that I managed to score three goals against the Filipinos. I am grateful to my team, fans, country, friends that they believe in me. And of course, thanks to my partners on the field, without them this would not have happened. We have already watched the matches of the UAE team, made an analysis. We'll see how the match goes,” he remarked.

The national team of Kyrgyzstan is to play against the UAE team at Zayed Sport City Stadium today at 23:00 Bishkek time.
