Yokogawa Electric Corporation interested in deepening cooperation with Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, Feb. 12, 2020 / Kabar /. Chairman of the board of the National Energy Holding, Aitmamat Nazarov, met with representatives of the Japanese company Yokogawa Electric Corporation, the leading provider of Industrial Automation and Test and Measurement solutions.

According to the company's press service, during the meeting, the sides discussed priority areas of cooperation, and also exchanged views on the implementation of joint projects to modernize equipment and introduce modern technologies into the production process for managing energy facilities.

Nazarov expressed confidence that the best practices of Yokogawa Electric Corporation will help to solve urgent tasks to improve the efficiency of energy enterprises.

“Given the company's successful experience in developing process control systems at hydropower plants and cogeneration plants, we suggest considering the possibility of replacing and installing a modern production control system at power plants, as well as discussing the possibility of its implementation in generation facilities for further operation,” Nazarov said.

Sales manager of Yokogawa Electric Corporation Ken Fujimoto, in turn, expressed gratitude for the invitation and emphasized that the company is interested in deepening cooperation and is ready to offer its services based on the results of visits to the republic’s energy facilities.

The visit of the delegation of the Japanese company to Kyrgyzstan took place following the results of the meeting of the head of the National Energy Holding Aitmamat Nazarov with the heads of the largest energy companies in Japan, which took place in November 2019.

Recall that following the working visit of President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sooronbay Jeenbekov to Japan (October 20-24, 2019), agreements were reached on the development of bilateral economic cooperation between the countries, including in the energy field.
