Bishkek, Apr. 2, 2019. /Kabar/. A businessman from Kyrgyzstan has entered the list of 300 young and successful entrepreneurs in the Asian continent under 30. Dastan Omuraliev became the only Kyrgyz citizen to hold a place in the Forbes’ ranking in 2019.
Apart from him from the countries of Central Asia, four more entrepreneurs from Kazakhstan were added to the list. Most of all there are representatives of China in it - 61, separately from Hong Kong - 11, and from India - 59.
According to the compilers of the Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia 2019 list, a total of over 2,000 applications from representatives of 23 countries in the Asia-Pacific region had been examined. As a result, 300 entrepreneurs whose ideas are recognized as innovative, and projects change the perception of the world were selected.
Dastan Omuraliev, as stated on the website of the Asian version of the magazine, founded juice company Ecoproduct Asia in 2013 with the aim of providing local consumers in Kyrgyzstan the option of buying natural, not-from-concentrate products from real fruit. After experiencing tremendous growth over the last few years, Ecoproduct Asia is now the leading domestic juice manufacturer in the country, and Omuraliev estimates that by 2022 they will have a 50% market share of the entire local juice industry.
