Young Kyrgyz chess player wins bronze medal at Western Asia Chess Championship

Bishkek, Sept. 6, 2017 / Kabar /. Young Kyrgyz chess player Sultay Chyngyz won a bronze medal of the Western Asia Chess Championship 2017, president of Kyrgyzstan Chess Federation Milan Turpanov told.

The Championship runs in Sri Lanka on September 4 - 11.

On September 5 the Rapid tournament consisting of 7 tours was completed. As a result Sultay Chyngyz took the 3rd place with 5 points and won the bronze medal of the Championship.

A chess player from Sri Lanka won a gold medal and the silver was won by Bangladeshi chess player in the rapid.
