Young Kyrgyzstani becomes champion of state of Arizona (USA) in judo

Bishkek, Feb. 28, 2024. /Kabar/. Kyrgyz athlete Erik Kydyrmyshev took first place at the Arizona State Open (USA) Judo Championship and became the new Arizona judo champion.

The Arizona State Open Championship was held from February 23 to 24, 2024 in Tucson, Arizona. Eric Kydyrmyshev won two gold medals in the +42 kg weight category, in two divisions (9-10 years and 11-12 years).

Eric Kydyrmyshev has been practicing judo since he was 5 years old and already has good achievements by his age, including second place at the National Tournament held in California in December 2023. Eric Kydyrmyshev went through the Kyrgyz judo school and sincerely believes that the Kyrgyz judo school is one of the strongest.

Such achievements of young athletes of the Kyrgyz Republic draw attention to the high level of sportsmanship in Kyrgyzstan on the world stage.
