Bishkek, Nov.1, 2019. /Kabar/. The youth national team of Bishkek won 2 gold and 1 bronze medals at the international tournament in Krasnoyarsk and took the third place in team classification, the press service of the Bishkek Mayor’s Office reported.
The Bishkek team consisted of pupils of the Specialized Children and Youth Sports School of Olympic Reserve of Leninsky district.
About 300 athletes under 16 from Russia and the CIS countries took part in the event, among which the Kyrgyz were among the top three. In the medal count the first team place was won by the national team of Yakutia, the second - by the team from Kazakhstan.
Islam Akimbayev (38kg) and Yukhan Dokturbek uulu (44kg) won the gold medal, while Miran Akimbayev (48kg) won the bronze medal.
