Osh, Mar. 11, 2019. /Kabar/. A youth forum of the border regions "Youth of Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan – Continuers of Good-Neighborliness" is held in the city of Osh from March 11 to 12 as part of the plan of activities for 2018-2019 on the implementation of bilateral cooperation between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The official opening of the forum was attended by Director of the State Agency for Youth, Physical Culture and Sports under the Kyrgyz Government Kanat Amankulov, Chairman of the Youth Union of Uzbekistan Kakhramon Kuranbayev, UN Resident Coordinator Ozonnia Ojielo, Vice Mayor of Osh Nurbek Kadyrov and youth representatives of the two countries.
Within the framework of the forum, the young participants from Uzbekistan (Fergana, Namangan and Andijan regions) and Kyrgyzstan (Batken, Jalal-Abad, Osh oblasts) will discuss promising and problematic issues of the border regions of the two countries related to youth policy. On the second day of the forum, the participants will visit Momunov Football Academy and other places of interest in the city of Osh.
The forum is held by the State Agency for Youth, Physical Culture and Sports under the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic with the support of the UN in the Kyrgyz Republic.
