Bishkek, Oct. 17, 2018. /Kabar/. The closing ceremony of the Summer Youth Olympic Games 2018 will be held on Thursday, August 18, in Buenos Aires, Argentina. For today, the team of the Kyrgyz Republic has completed its participation.
Kyrgyzstan has 5 medals in the bank, three of them are silver and two are bronze.
The following athlete excelled in the individual competition: Denis Petrashov (swimming) and Elmirbek Sadyrov (Greco-Roman wrestling) – silver medal, Khasan Baudunov (fencing) – bronze medal.
Baudunov also distinguished himself in team competitions. This time he managed to take the second place of the pedestal. Judoist Sultan Zhenishbekov became the bronze medalist of the tournament.
The Youth Olympics started on October 6, where Kyrgyzstan was represented by 9 sportsmen and a streetball team of 4 people.
