Bishkek, June 16, 2020. /Kabar/. The construction of youth centers in the country's regions is continuing, the press service of the State Agency for Youth Affairs, Physical Culture and Sports Education reported.
Youth centers are being built from scratch in Chek-Abad village of Osh Oblast, Balykchy town of Issyk-Kul Oblast, Kara - Buura village of Talas Oblast and Isfana town of Batken Oblast.
In the villages of Nariman in Osh Oblast, Suzak and Bazar-Korgon in Dzalal-Abad Oblast, and in the town of Kara-Balta in Chui Oblast repair work is being carried out on the allocated premises in the administrative buildings of the local authorities.
Under the "Strengthening Community Resilience and Regional Cooperation to Prevent Extremism in Central Asia" UNDP project, it is planned to open 10 youth centers throughout the country.
A work of the youth centers is aimed at attracting young people to the process of implementing the state youth policy, solving the issues of life activity of youth, supporting youth initiatives and other tasks.
