Tashkent, May 29, 2021. / Kabar /. Kyrgyz fellows of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation have arrived in the city of Samarkand, for a study tour around the cities of Uzbekistan, Mahmudjon Kazakbaev, head of the Kyrgyz edition of Alliance-Press, told Kabar.
The participants of the study tour from Kyrgyzstan met their Uzbek peers, students at Samarkand International University of Tourism "Silk Road".
The guests had a tour of the city of Samarkand, inspected its historical center and attended an evening light show on Registan Square.
Earlier it was reported that in order to strengthen and raise to a new qualitative level of mutual friendship and good-neighborliness, trust and strategic partnership, according to the agreement within the framework of the visit of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic to Uzbekistan, in the cities of Fergana, Margelan, Tashkent-Bukhara, forums were held with the participation of an active part of Kyrgyz youth. This initiative was supported by the National Movement "Yuxalish" ("Rise") of Uzbekistan together with the office of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation for Central Asia.
