Bishkek, Sept. 1, 2020 / Kabar /. Youth House was opened in Bishkek for graduates of orphanages, now there are two of them.
According to the press service of the Bishkek Mayor's Office, the 24-bed house for temporary residence is intended for girls only.
The Youth House was opened by the public foundation "Protection of Rights of Orphans" within the framework of the project on social support for graduates of orphanages, which includes: the provision of free housing and three meals a day for the period of participation in the project (1-2 years), enrollment in educational institution (evening school, vocational lyceum, college, university), military registration, training in the basics of legal literacy and more.
One such institution is already functioning in Bishkek to provide temporary accommodation for graduates of orphanages, which was opened in cooperation with the capital's municipality and the organizations "Rotary Club", "Rotary Club Oslo" and "Rotary Club Majorstuen". 22 people live in a social hostel as of September 1.
