Bishkek, April 28, 2021 . / Kabar /. Youth is a strategic resource for the country's development, Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov said at the ceremony of awarding participants of the Children and Youth Friendly City contest.
The president noted important role of youth in society.
“Youth is a strategic resource for the country's development because young people have enormous potential in socio-economic, humanitarian, creative and scientific fields,” Zhaparov said.
"You should not look with indifference at the problems of the country that we have now. We understand the need to actively involve young people in the development of the country. All those who are sitting here now, you are the key to the development of the country,” the Kyrgyz leader stressed.
The president noted that today's Children and Youth Friendly City contest, in which 18 cities participated, is a very good project.
"All relevant government agencies and public organizations are ready to support all constructive proposals for the development of the country," Zhaparov stressed.
