The youth shared their thoughts and ideas on waste management, air pollution and developing eco-friendly habits as small but important steps towards adapting to climate change, UNICEF said.
The discussion was lively, young people presented practical solutions and emphasized the importance of small, incremental actions to mitigate climate change. They highlighted the need to integrate sustainable practices into everyday life, demonstrating a clear understanding of wider environmental issues and their role in addressing them.
The UN Secretary-General praised the power of youth and their indispensable role in meaningfully addressing climate change.
