Bishkek, Dec. 19, 2021 . / Kabar / . President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov visited on Sunday Jalal-Abad Oblast Clinical hospital.
The visit took place as part of the president's working trip to Jalal-Abad Oblast, his press service said.
Zhaparov toured the new building, wards and surgery block of the medical facility which provides specialized medical care to the population of Jalal-Abad Oblast.
The new 100-bed facility has four departments: the maxillofacial department, the ENT department, the eye department, and the urology department.
The Kyrgyz president also met and talked with the staff of the Jalal-Abad Oblast Clinical Hospital.
He noted the hard work of medical workers who have been fighting the coronavirus for two years in spite of everything.
The Kyrgyz leader noted about the plans on the next year to increase salaries for public sector workers, including doctors. He also touched on the issue of housing.
Zhaparov added that the issue of issuing state mortgage on preferential terms will be considered.
During the conversation with medical personnel it became known that Caravan of Health mobile medical complexes could not operate and travel to regions because of problems with customs procedures.
In this regard, Sadyr Zhaparov instructed to promptly resolve the issue of passing all customs procedures for the further operation of mobile medical complexes in the region.
To date, a total of 418 institutions provide medical care to residents of Jalal-Abad Oblast.
