Zhaparov instructs to eliminate consequences of mudslide in Aksy as soon as possible

Bishkek, July 13, 2021 . / Kabar / . President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov instructed the Cabinet of Ministers to take all necessary measures as soon as possible to eliminate the consequences of the mudflow, which occurred on Monday in Aksy region of Jalal-Abad Oblast.

It was also instructed to provide appropriate assistance to the population affected by the natural disaster, the press service of the Kyrgyz president said Tuesday.

The head of state expressed condolences to the families of those killed and injured as a result of the mudslide in Aksy.

All those injured will receive support from the state.

Due to heavy rains last night mud flows came down in Aksy region. As a result, the flow of debris killed eight people, including two children. The search for the two children continues.
