Bishkek, Nov. 6, 2024 . / Kabar / . During the chairmanship, we intend to make every effort to effectively support the implementation of the decisions taken at the Bishkek Summit of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov said during the 11th OTS Summit in Bishkek.
He noted that he is pleased that Kyrgyz-Turkish relations of strategic partnership are actively developing and strengthening for the benefit of the two peoples.
"This year I have paid state and official visits to Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan. Within the framework of the visits, our will to expand strategic relations between our countries and comprehensive development was once again confirmed. In the near future, Azerbaijan will host the largest international event of the UN climate conference, the COP-29 summit. Dear Ilham Heydarovich, we wish such an important summit to be successful, and we are ready to fully support the brotherly Republic of Azerbaijan," the president said.
Zhaparov added that in recent years, bilateral cooperation with Uzbekistan has been developing reliably in all spheres thanks to active negotiations with Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
"It is a great honor for us to accept the post of the next chairmanship of the Organization of Turkic States. The chairmanship of the Kyrgyz Republic will be held under the slogan "Strengthening the Turkic world: economic integration, sustainable development, digital future and security for all".
During the chairmanship, we intend to make every effort to effectively support the implementation of the decisions taken at the Bishkek Summit," the Kyrgyz leader added.
Sadyr Zhaparov added that first of all, the country's chairmanship will focus on the program "Vision of the Turkic World - 2040", "Strategy of the Organization of Turkic States for 2022-2026" and other strategic documents of the Organization.
