Bishkek, July 24, 2022 . / Kabar / . President of Kyrgyzstan talked over phone with his Uzbek counterpart Shavkat Mirziyoyev, his press service reported Sunday.
The leaders of the two countries discussed the current state and prospects of bilateral relations, as well as the results of the recent Consultative Meeting of Heads of State of Central Asia, held in Cholpon-Ata, Issyk-Kul Oblast.
Taking the opportunity, Zhaparov warmly congratulated Shavkat Mirziyoyev on his birthday and wished him good health, well-being and success in responsible state activity for the benefit of the Uzbek people.
The president of Uzbekistan expressed gratitude for congratulations and warm wishes, and confirmed readiness to continue expanding mutually beneficial cooperation and strengthening the Kyrgyz-Uzbek relations based on the principles of friendship, partnership and alliance.
