"The Kyrgyz Republic welcomes and supports the initiative of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to establish an India-Central Asia dialogue platform at the highest level," Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov said on Thursday during the India-Central Asia Summit held in the online format, his press service said.
The head of state paid special attention to India's involvement in ensuring security, development and prosperity of Central Asian states in accordance with the spirit of strategic partnership, centuries-old good neighborliness and historical and civilizational ties.
Sadyr Zhaparov emphasized that over the past three years since the first meeting of the Dialogue at the level of foreign ministers, interregional cooperation and interaction had reached the next qualitative level and been filled with additional meaningful content.
