Zhaparov to attend opening of IIHF World Championship in Bishkek

Bishkek, March 3, 2022 . / Kabar / . President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov will take part in the opening ceremony of the 2022 IIHF World Championship Division IV to be held today in Bishkek.

Teams from Kyrgyzstan, Kuwait, Malaysia, Singapore and Iran will compete in this sporting event held under the auspices of the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF), the press service of the Kyrgyz president said.

IIHF President Luc Tardif will also attend the tournament.

The ceremony will be broadcast live on the Public Broadcasting Corporation of the Kyrgyz republic, beginning at 7:25 p.m.
