Bishkek, Mar.12, 2020./Kabar/. Kyrgyz President Sooronbay Jeenbekov inspected on Wednesday construction of the Isfana-Kairagach checkpoint highway in Batken Oblast, his press service said.
Minister of Transport and Roads of the country Janat Beishenov informed that the main construction works have been completed, and work on installation of road signs, pedestrian crossings and stopping points is currently underway.
The total length of the road Isfana-Kairagach checkpoint is 36.1 km.
In his conversation with local residents, President Jeenbekov noted the reconstruction of transport corridors of the country will continue in all oblasts. He once again emphasized that this is an integral part of the state policy of regional development.
