Bishkek, March 9 / Kabar /. Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Sooronbay Zheenbekov within the framework of his one-day working trip to Talas oblast took part in the opening ceremony of a phytosanitary laboratory in the village of Kyzyl-Adyr, the press service of the government reports.
The prime minister stressed that the opening of these phytosanitary laboratories in the country, that meet international standards, is a definite result of work within the framework of Kyrgyzstan's accession to the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU).
The prime minister said that with the accession of Kyrgyzstan to the EEU, the republic adopted a number of obligations, one of which is the availability in the country of veterinary and phytosanitary laboratories that meet international standards.
Sooronbay Zheenbekov recalled that construction, modernization and reconstruction of these facilities are conducted at the expense of the republican budget.
He also added that 13 phytosanitary and veterinary laboratories will be put into operation in Kyrgyzstan by the end of 2017. In addition, two large laboratories will operate in the cities of Osh and Bishkek.
