Bishkek, Dec. 12, 2017 /Kabar/. Sooronbai Zheenbekov’s official visit to Uzbekistan will be a continuation of the active political dialogue that has been developed between the two countries over the past year, head of Kyrgyz President’s Foreign Policy Department Aizada Subakozhoeva told.
She reminded that at the invitation of the Uzbek side, Zheenbekov's will pay official visit to Uzbekistan on Dec. 13-14.
During Kyrgyz President’s visit, meetings with Shavkat Mirziyoyev are scheduled in a narrow and extended formats. A number of documents will be signed within the framework of the visit and the heads of state will adopt a joint statement.
Zheenbekov’s meetings with Prime Minister Abdullah Aripov and Speaker of the Parliament of Uzbekistan Nigmatlya Yuldashev are also planned, Subakozhoeva told.
"There are a number of key issues on agenda. An exchange of views on the prospects for the development of bilateral relations will be held. The potential of bilateral cooperation between our countries is high. This visit will confirm the commitment of both sides " Subakozhoeva said.
Before Kyrgyz President’s visit to Uzbekistan it is planned to hold a trade and investment forum with the participation of entrepreneurs from Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan.
