Bishkek, March 12, 2024. /Kabar/. The volume of Kyrgyzstan’s foreign and mutual trade in goods in January 2024 amounted to 1.2 billion US dollars, Deputy Chairman of the National Statistics Committee Bakytbek Shokenov told at a briefing.
According to him, the figure increased by 36.8% compared to January 2023, while export supplies increased by 46.6% and import receipts by 35.1%.
He noted that the volume of mutual trade with the EAEU member states amounted to 278.3 million US dollars and decreased by 4% compared to January 2023. The largest share of the republic’s mutual trade during this period fell on Russia – 70% and Kazakhstan – 27.6%.
