Kyrgyzstan's foreign trade turnover for 3 months amounts to USD 1.3 bln

Bishkek, May 14, 2020. /Kabar/. In January-March 2020, Kyrgyzstan's foreign trade turnover, according to preliminary data, amounted to USD 1 billion 364.4 million.

According to the press service of the National Statistics Committee, it decreased by 15.8% compared to January-March 2019, while export supplies declined by 0.8% and import revenues - by 21.8%.

The volume of mutual trade between the republic and the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) member states in January-March 2020 amounted to USD 614 million, and increased by 3% compared to January-March 2019.

At the same time, export supplies decreased by 3.7 %, while import revenues, on the contrary, increased by 5.1 %. Among EAEU member states, the largest share of Kyrgyzstan's mutual trade accounted for Russia (71.7%) and Kazakhstan (26.5%)
