Bishkek, Aug. 10, 2021 . / Kabar / . As of July 30, 2021 the amount of Kyrgyzstan's state debt (external + internal) of Kyrgyzstan has amounted to USD 4 billion 920 million 98 thousan (KGS 416 629.99 million).
According to the republic's Ministry of Finance, of these:
- 84.5% is the state external debt: USD 4,159.47 million (KGS 352,157.11 million);
- 15.5% is the state internal debt: USD 761.51mn (KGS 64,472.88 million).
For January-July 2021, KGS 21 billion 790.9 million was allocated from the republican budget of Kyrgyzstan for servicing of the state debt (external + internal), of which:
- KGS 11,204.8 for the state external debt,
- KGS 10 586.1 million was spent on serving the state internak debt.
Public debt is a total amount of disbursed and unpaid internal and external public debt of the Kyrgyz Republic on a certain date under the credit agreement or other debt gations of state.
The amount of public debt is determined by the Government taking into account international indices of debt sustainability and is provided in the law on the national budget for the next fiscal year and two forecast periods.
