Uzbekistan’s foreign trade turnover amounts to USD 18.01B

Tashkent, July 21, 2021 . / Kabar / . In January-June 2021, foreign trade turnover of Uzbekistan reached $18.01 billion, a growth made 13.6%, or $2.15 billion compared to the same period in 2020, the State Statistics Committee of the republic said.

Of the total volume of the foreign trade turnover, exports amounted to $7.05 billion in January-June 2020, an increase of 12.3%, and imports - $10.95 billion, an increase of 14.3%. The balance of foreign trade turnover amounted to passive balance of $ 3.9 billion.

As of today, Uzbekistan carries out trade relations with 171 countries of the world.

The largest volume of foreign trade turnover was recorded with China - 18.2%, Russia - 17%, Kazakhstan - 10.4%, Turkey - 8.7%, the Republic of Korea - 4.6%, Kyrgyzstan - 2.4% and Afghanistan - 2%.
