Repeat local council elections: As of 2 p.m. total turnout makes 17.06%

Bishkek, July 11, 2021 . / Kabar / . The Central Elections Commission of the Kyrgyz Republic provided the latest data on the voter turnout for repeat local council elections in Bishkek, Osh and Tokmok as of 2 p.m.

The total turnout was 105 thousand 362 people, or 17.06% of the total number of voters.

Following are data on the turnout in the cities:

- Bishkek - 55 thousand 515 voters, or 13.01% of the total number of voters;

- Osh - 40 thousand 695 voters, or 26,65% of total number of voters;

- Tokmok - 9 thousand 152 voters, or 24,02% of the total number of voters.

The elections to local councils were held on April 11, 2021. But due to numerous violations in three cities, the election results were cancelled and re-scheduled.
