Bishkek, April 11, 2023. / Kabar/. The volume of foreign and mutual trade of Kyrgyzstan in goods in January-February 2023 amounted to USD 1.7 billion, Deputy Chairman of the National Statistical Committee Zainidin Zhumaliev said at a briefing in Bishkek.
According to him, compared with January-February 2022, it increased by 22.7%, while export supplies increased by 2.2%, and import receipts - by 27.2%.
“The volume of mutual trade with the EAEU member states in January-February 2023 amounted to USD 545.3 million and decreased by 11% compared to January-February 2022. At the same time, export deliveries increased by 14.3%, while import receipts, on the contrary, decreased by 18.6%,” he said.
Zhumaliev noted that the largest share of the republic's mutual trade with the EAEU member states in January-February 2023 fell on Russia 61.6% and Kazakhstan 35.5%.
