Bishkek, Jan. 14, 2022. . / Kabar/ . The volume of foreign trade turnover of Kyrgyzstan in January-November 2021 increased by 21.4% compared to the same period last year and amounted to $ 6.3 billion, Chairman of the National Statistics Committee Baktybek Kudaibergenov told at a press conference.
He noted that exports decreased by 21.1%, and imports - increased by almost 44%. Kudaibergenov added that the decline in export supplies was due to a 3.2-fold decrease in gold supplies.
"Trade turnover with countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) in January-November 2021 amounted to USD 2.9 billion, compared to the same period in 2020 growth was 31.4 percent. Meanwhile, growth of exports volume made 34%, and imports - by 31.7%.
Russia accounted for the largest share of Kyrgyzstan's trade with EAEU countries - 65.5% and Kazakhstan - 32%," Kudaibergenov concluded.
