Volume of foreign trade turnover of Kyrgyzstan reaches USD 4.3 bln

Bishkek, Oct. 12, 2021 . / Kabar / . In January-August 2021, the volume of foreign and mutual trade in goods of Kyrgyzstan amounted to $4.3 billion and increased by 19.7% compared to January-August of 2020, the National Statistics Committee of the republic said.

Exports decreased by 19.5 percent, while imports, on the contrary, increased by 41.4 percent.

In January-August 2021, the volume of mutual trade of Kyrgyzstan with member states of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) amounted to $2.0 billion and increased by 25.8 percent compared to the same period of 2020.

Meanwhile, export supplies increased by 29.9 percent and import revenues by 24.5 percent.

The largest share of mutual trade of the republic with EAEU member states in January-August accounted for Russia (65.4 percent) and Kazakhstan (32.2 percent).
