Bishkek, May 13, 2020. /Kabar/. During four months of operation, the assets of the Guarantee Fund OJSC have increased by 102%, and reached KGS 1 billion 225 million, Chairman of the Fund's Board Malik Abakirov said a news briefing.
According to him, about 600 guarantees amounting to KGS 204 million have been issued this year, which is 400% more than in 2019.
"Our activity is profitable. We have received KGS 20 million of net profit, which is 186% more than last year. Our partner banks have issued KGS 1 billion 100 million of loans under our guarantees. We have supported by restructuring more than 160 entrepreneurs for KGS 165 million", he stressed.
Within the framework of the One District - One Enterprise program, 49 enterprise have been established.
Chairman Abakirov concluded that the Fund continues to implement two cluster projects - the development of dairy industry in Issyk-Kul Oblast and intensive development of sheep breeding.
The Guarantee Fund OJSC is aimed at providing access to financing for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in case of insufficient collateral throughout the Kyrgyz Republic.
