GDP growth in Kyrgyzstan since beginning of year made 0.1%

Bishkek, July 11, 2018. / Kabar /. In recent months, the slowdown in economic growth has been observed in Kyrgyzstan. The specialists of the National Statistics Committee told about the social and economic situation for the period from January to June.

According to data of chief of the department of summary works and the dissemination of statistical information Chinara Turdubayeva, according to preliminary data, the gross domestic product (GDP) for the first six months was estimated at 213 billion 640.3 million soms and increased by 0.1%. For the same period last year, GDP growth, as it was specified, was 5.6%.

Also, the specialist said that without taking into account the enterprises for the development of the Kumtor field, the GDP in this period amounted to about 193 billion soms and increased by 2.1%.
